SCERA Sprouts (Grades K-2)
Focus on the basics of singing, reading music notes, understanding rhythm and timing. Singers will learn several musical numbers and present a Christmas and Spring mini-concert. Instructor: Adrienne Braun
Time: Mondays 4:30-5:15pm
Tuition: $25/month (includes all materials)
SCERA Sprouts (Grades 3-5)
Focus on reading music, singing fundamentals, proper breathing and posture for singing. Singers will learn fun music from Broadway, pop, gospel and more, plus present a Christmas and Spring mini-concert. Instructor: Adrienne Braun
Time: Mondays 5:30-6:15pm
Tuition: $35/month (includes all materials)
SCERA Singers (Grades 6-8)
Focus on vocal health, proper breathing techniques, three-part harmonies and vocal performance. Singers will learn fun, exciting harmony music from Disney, Broadway, pop, gospel and more, plus present a Christmas and Spring mini-concert. Instructor: Jen Marco
Time: Fridays 4-5pm
Tuition: $35/month plus $25 materials fee per semester
New! Utah Glee Club (Ages 12-18)
Taking trend and inspirational cues from FOX TV's smash hit, "Glee," The Utah Glee Club is an exciting show choir that gives teen singers and musicians a chance to perform contemporary music in a concert setting. Focus on vocal performance, advanced singing technique, and intricate four-part harmony. The group will learn fun and challenging Glee Club-style music and choreography, plus perform in a concert at end of each quarterly session and be featured in SCERA’s Christmas Music Revue (Dec. 6,13), Spring Music Revue (May 8-9) and Night of Broadway (Feb. 3-11). Dates: The first session is October - December 2011 and will continue quarterly. Students can sign up for just one quarter or continue on from quarter to quarter.
Time: Meet two days a week - Tuesdays 6:00-7:30pm and Fridays 4:00-6:00pm
Tuition: $40/month

TO REGISTER: Registration for Winter 2012 will begin Monday, November 14. You may pick up a registration form at the SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 South State, Orem, open 10am-6pm weekdays, call (801) 225-ARTS to register by phone or download and print the registration form. Bring the completed form and full payment to the main office of the SCERA Center for the Arts. There is a $15 cancellation fee per class.
