Ages: Jr. & Sr. high school students with at least one year playing experience on trumpet/cornet, french horn, trombone, baritone/euphonium or tuba.

Utah's most powerful brass ensemble, Utah Premiere Brass, brings you a weeklong training camp that will combine chamber performance, group instruction, and educational seminars designed to develop all aspects of brass playing. Students will improve their skills through playing and performance in traditional brass choir ensembles and will be led in sectional rehearsals by top members of Utah Premiere Brass. Educational seminars will include topics specific to each instrument as well as British style brass bands. The camp will culminate with a performance featuring all participants in concert with the Utah Premiere Brass at Orem's Summerfest. TO REGISTER: Registration for Summer 2011 will begin on Friday, April 1st. You may pick up a registration form at the SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 South State, Orem, open 10am-6pm weekdays, call (801) 225-ARTS to register by phone or download and print Summer 2011 registration form. Bring the completed form and full payment to the main office of the SCERA Center for the Arts. There is a $15 cancellation fee per class.
