So if you're 55 and older, check out the many fun and creative ways you can learn a new skill, laugh with your spouse, neighbors and friends, and show off what you've accomplished. SCERA offers affordable tuition, fantastic instructors and a wide variety of quality programs. Don't be afraid to try something new - you won't regret it! Sign up for one semester or both.

Come learn the basics of theatre and acting skills through scenes, monologues, techniques, projection, auditioning tips and more. You'll even get your turn in the spotlight performing in a presentation for family and friends at the end of the semester! Instructor: Amy Shreeve-Keeler

MUSIC
Choir
Sing wonderful songs while learning vocal skills, harmony and showmanship. The perfect choir for any skill level - whether you have experience or just love to sing! You'll also get a chance to perform a mini-concert for family and friends at the end of each semester.

Ages: 55 and older
Time: Tuesdays 11:30am-12:30pm
Tuition: $60/month
Take our Art Combo class which teaches basic to more advanced techniques of drawing, painting and and pottery. You'll enjoy the casual, no-stress atmosphere of our beautiful SCERA Art Studios building. Students will have the opportunity to exhibit their original works in Gallery 101 at the SCERA Center for the Arts at the end of each semester. Instructor: Ashley Harvey

DANCE
Adult Social Ballroom Lessons
Come and have a great evening with your dance partner of choice and learn social ballroom skills. This is a fun, low-key environment to find your two left feet and make them move in ways you didn’t think you could! This year, we are teaching the Cha-Cha...join us for one night or all three of the dates listed below. It’s a great excuse to socialize with friends and neighbors and get out of the house for an hour! Instructor: Shawn Mortensen

TO REGISTER: Registration is now open. You may pick up a registration form at the SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 South State, Orem, open 10am-6pm weekdays, call (801) 225-ARTS to register by phone or download and print registration form. Bring the completed form and full payment to the main office of the SCERA Center for the Arts. There is a $15 cancellation fee per class.
