* Reports to SCERA’s Technical Director
* Will build sets for SCERA live theatre productions
* Knowledge of and comfort in working with tools
* Must be motivated and a self-starter
* Project Oriented - willing to see projects through to completion on or before deadline
* Must be available for strike of shows

VOLUNTEER

GET FREE TICKETS TO MOVIES, PLAYS & CONCERTS at SCERA and share your time, talents and enthusiasm as part of SCERA's Volunteer Family! Help us serve the public by selling and taking tickets, handing out programs, greeting and ushering, or selling concessions and merchandise.  You can also assist with our many arts education programs. Youth ages 12 and older receive job training, a love of community service, have lots of fun and make new friends. Adults, College Students and Seniors, we need your maturity and leadership and you'll have fun, too! The time commitment is just 2-5 hours per shift, and you'll receive great benefits for your family.  There are two application options below:  1) Download, print and fill out the application below and bring to the SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 South State, Orem  2)  Fill out and submit the application online:

INTERNSHIPS

Applications are now being accepted for SCERA's internship program for student volunteers ages 12 and older! Receive training and hands-on experience as you learn from team leaders experienced in their area of expertise.  There are two application options below: 1) Download, print and fill out the application below and bring to the SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 South State, Orem 2) Fill out and submit the application online:

SERVICE PROJECTS

There are many things that individuals, eagle scouts, families, neighborhoods, business owners, and church and civic groups can do to help SCERA on a one-time or continuing basis. Some service project ideas are listed below.  To discuss any of these ideas or other ideas you may have, call (801) 225-ARTS:


NEIGHBORHOOD REPRESENTATIVES  Be SCERA's official representative in your neighborhood area, helping distribute brochures, flyers and other information.

PLANT FLOWERS/WEEDING/LANDSCAPING  There are many areas that need upkeep and maintenance, including the courtyard at the SCERA Center and other surrounding areas.

SPECIALTY SERVICES  You may own a business, have a talent or know someone who may be willing to donate products or services such as: Catering, Electrical or handyman services, painting, construction, graphic design, printing, lawn care and maintenance, parking lot striping/crack sealing, carpet cleaning, office and custodial supplies, computers, storage units, wood, paint, etc.

ONE-TIME PROJECTS  We can help you organize Eagle Scout or Young Women Personal Progress service projects or projects for other church or civic groups.
