One of the greatest musicals ever written has been specially adapted for students, and SCERA will present Broadway’s legendary masterpiece with the powerful voices of Acting Up, SCERA’s award-winning high school performance team.  This epic story of the power of the human spirit set in 19th century France recounts paroled petty thief Jean Valjean’s struggle for redemption and quest for freedom from the relentless pursuit of Inspector Javert.  Emotionally charged with inspiring music, audiences will be moved as the talented young cast brings this grand and uplifting musical theatre achievement to life.
