PULSE
SCERA REPERTORY DANCE COMPANY

This group, directed by veteran performer and choreographer Sunny Watts, is for adults ages 18-40 who are serious about dancing, training and performing.  Auditions for the brand new company will be held Saturday, May 5, but the director will be hold several workshops prior to auditions that dancers are strongly encouraged to attend. The workshops will cover technique, conditioning and styles including contemporary, jazz and hip-hop. Cost is $10.00 per class, and dancers should come to as many as possible prior to auditions. There is a limit of 30 dancers per class.

The dance workshops will be held Thursday April 12 and Tuesday April 17 from 7-9pm and Saturdays April 21 and April 28 from 2:30-4:30pm. They will be held at the SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 South State, Orem. Register for specific workshop days you will attend at our main office between 10am-6pm weekdays, by calling (801) 225-ARTS, or at the door prior to the workshops you'd like to attend. 

AUDITIONS

Auditions will be held on Saturday, May 5 from 2:00-4:00pm in Room B1 of the SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 South State, Orem. Dancers will warm up, do across the floor sequences and learn choreography which will then be your audition piece. If you are accepted into the company after auditions, you will be committed for one year including a $500 fee, which can be paid $40 per month plus a once-yearly $20 materials fee.
