MIDAS WHALE

This humorous folk duo turned four chairs on NBC’s “The Voice”

Description

The humorous folk duo known for turning four chairs on NBC’s “The Voice,” musicians Jon Peter Lewis and Ryan Hayes garnered high praise from Adam Levine: “You guys are one of the more charming, talented duos I have ever seen perform. That’s the truth.” The show’s judges and fans old and new rave about their superb harmonies, infectious energy and quirky vibe. Influenced by Simon and Garfunkel, The Everly Brothers and Van Morrison, Midas Whale released their debut album Sugar House last year, an album of original songs blending the rough and dirty sounds of Western music with the pure bright harmonies of folk. Hayes and Lewis also launched a rock opera titled Deep Love, a stage show with 23 original songs selling out theatres in the West and most recently in New York City.
