Description

Long live Green Eggs & Ham! Making its Shell debut, Seussical is a family favorite featuring the mischievous Cat in the Hat and all your favorite Dr. Seuss characters as they collide and cavort in an unforgettable musical caper, including Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz,  Amazing Mayzie and all the Whos of Whoville. These classic and colorful tales are brought together by JoJo, a little boy who is a “thinker of wonderful thinks!” The upbeat music from Tony winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty transports you from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible Who world, so let your imagination run wild as this production is sure to be a spectacular of grand proportions. Directed and choreographed by Shawn M. Mortensen. Music direction by DeLayne Bluth Dayton.

RAINOUT POLICY

In most cases, events will not be declared a “rainout” before showtime. A rainy day can turn into a beautiful evening and most shows continue regardless of cold, wind or rain. Come prepared for the weather, or plan to attend on another evening! If the show is declared an official rainout by SCERA management prior to intermission, rainchecks will be given for one of the remaining nights.

asl-iconThe show will be interpreted in American Sign Language on Tuesday, July 18.  Those needing this service should purchase general admission tickets and then email april@scera.org with the number of people in your party.  We will set up a small section of reserved chairs near the stage on the south side of the hill.
